The news of TVS Victor to be reintroduced with a BS-VI compliant engine is being circulated. TVS Victor was discontinued around 2007 and later the company decided to re-launch the BS4 version of the bike in 2015.

TVS Victor BS6 Price & Specifications

Now, it is confirmed that the company is going to launch the BS6 compliant TVS Victor. It is likely to be launched in April 2021 with the ex-showroom price ranging from Rs 56,000 to Rs 60,000. Like its predecessor, the BS vi variant of TVS Victor can also be available in three variants: Victor Drum BS6, Victor Disc BS6, and Victor Premium Edition BS6.

Engine

It will be powered by a single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-cooled, 109.7cc BS6 compliant engine, which will be capable of producing a maximum power of 9.6 PS at 7500 rpm and the maximum torque of 9.4 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated with a 4-speed manual transmission gearbox.

Electricals

The company TVS Motors has implemented Day Running Lights, halogen headlamp, bulb tail lamp, and turn indicators that will be powered with a maintenance-free battery.

Wheels, Tyres, Brakes and Suspensions

The front and rear 17-inch alloy wheels will be equipped with 2.75 x 17 front and 3 x 17 rear tubeless tyres. The drum variant will have both front and rear drum brakes of diameters 130 mm and 110mm respectively. The disc and the premium variants to be equipped with a front disc brake of 240 mm.

The new BS6 TVS Victor will be built upon a single cradle tubular frame and at the front end, it will have telescopic oil damped suspension, while a 5 step adjustable hydraulic series spring suspension at the rear end.

Features

The new TVS Victor will be featuring a Synchronized Braking System, digital and analog instrument console that will include a digital speedometer, digital odometer, analog tachometer, digital trip meter, digital fuel gauge, low fuel indicator, low battery indicator, etc. The synchronized braking system is equivalent to the Combi Brake System in Honda and Integrated Braking System in Hero Motocorp.

Dimensions and Weight

The length, width, and height of this bike will be 1980 mm, 750 mm, and 1090 mm respectively. It will provide a ground clearance of 175 mm and a wheelbase of 1260 mm. It will have a fuel tank of 8 liters of capacity. The kerb weight of this commuter bike can be around 113 kg.

TVS Victor Loan Information

Different banks have different rates of interest for two-wheeler loans and the maximum loan tenure and maximum eligible loan amount can also differ. If the customer gets a loan of Rs 50,000 from HDFC Bank, at a minimum 9.10% annual rate of interest for the tenure of 4 years, the remaining amount from the on-road price will be paid as a down payment before applying for the loan. The calculator monthly loan EMI for this loan amount is roughly Rs 2,300. The total payable amount, including the interest of Rs 4,900, is Rs 54,900. Some of the banks also provide 100% financing of the ex-showroom price. Suppose the customer is getting 100% financing for the disc variant from Axis Bank, that is Rs 59,000, at a minimum 10.8% annual interest rate, for the tenure of 30 months, then the remaining amount of the on-road price will be paid by the customer is down payment before the loan repayment starts. The total amount payable for this loan will be Rs 57,500 including the total calculated interest of Rs 8,500. The loan repayment will be done by the customer in monthly installments of Rs 2,250 for the period of 30 months.
