Triumph Trident 660 SpecificationsTriumph Trident is a series of three-cylinder motorcycles produced by Triumph Motorcycles Limited from 1990. The prototype of the all-new Triumph Trident 660 was unveiled at the London design museum on 25th August 2020.
It is the cheapest bike from the portfolio of Triumph motorcycles. Triumph Trident 660 was launched in the Indian market on Tuesday, 6th April 2021, with a price tag of Rs 6.95 lacs. It has retro styling like a circular headlamp, circular instrument cluster, curved fuel tank, and wide handlebars.
EngineA liquid-cooled, inline triple-cylinder, 12-valve, DOHC, 660cc engine is powering the all-new Trident with a multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection system and electronic throttle control. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 81 PS at 10250 rpm and a maximum torque of 64 Nm at 6250 rpm. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.

Wheels, Tyres, Brakes and SuspensionsThe front and rear cast alloy wheels of 17 × 3.5 inches are equipped with a front 120/70-17 and rear 180/55-17 tubeless tyres accompanied by front 2 piston sliding calipers, twin 310 mm floating discs, and rear single piston sliding caliper, single 255 mm disc.
At the front and rear ends of the tubular Steel perimeter frame, Showa 41mm upside down separate function forks and Showa monoshock suspension with preload adjustment are equipped respectively.

FeaturesThis roadster features two riding modes- rain and road, to adjust the total map and traction control accordingly. The TFT display shows multiple functions like speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, odometer, trip meter, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator, clock, etc. It also has a slip/assist clutch, ride by wire throttle with switchable traction control, and Nissin brake calipers with ABS.
